Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) invites applications for an OADRC Program Manager, Manager IV, based in Austin. This leadership role oversees ADRC program strategy, grants, and policy, guiding a multidisciplinary team to ensure compliant, high-impact services for older Texans.

The position emphasizes senior-level management, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to advance statewide program improvements within the agency’s telework framework.

Qualifications

• Four years of full-time professional experience in the health and human services field.
• Three years of supervisory experience overseeing professional-level staff.
• Two years of experience in policy development and/or program management.
• Experience with the Older Americans Act or No Wrong Door programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced managerial direction for the OADRC program, policy, and grants functions.
• Directs the development, implementation, and evaluation of program rules and policies.
• Ensures statewide compliance with governing statutes, grant conditions, and HHSC policies.
• Leads strategic planning efforts and high-visibility projects affecting ADRC operations.
• Represents OADRC in meetings and coordinates cross-divisional collaborations.
