Job summary

Optum is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to conduct telephonic medication reviews and adherence consultations. You will document care and coordinate with primary care providers to optimize disease state management.

The role requires an active Puerto Rico Pharmacist license, strong English communication, and flexibility to work a rotating schedule within 9:00 AM–9:00 PM AST. Remote work options may apply.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license (PharmD) in Puerto Rico.
• Experience working independently in a cross-functional team environment.
• Solid knowledge of drug products and clinical pharmacy.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Engage members telephonically and schedule pharmacist consultations within clinical programs.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and protect patient privacy.
• Use prescription claims data to inform MTM and DRUG Utilization Review protocols.
