Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Telemetry Technician to monitor and interpret ECGs under direction of a Registered Nurse. You will document rhythm interpretations and communicate changes to the RN, while ensuring safety and accuracy on all required records.

The role supports the healthcare team with patient care, prioritizing multiple tasks during a 12-hour night shift, 24 hours weekly, on-site at Mount Holly. 3–6 months experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months previous experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dysrhythmia and heart blocks is preferred.
• Knowledge of SPO2 monitoring and alarm response preferred.
• Strong organizational and interprofessional skills.

Responsibilities

• Continuously observes and interprets ECG monitors.
• Communicate changes in patient ECG to the RN and notify nursing staff of monitor issues.
• Document calculations and interpretation on required forms.
• Maintain patient safety and standard precautions with equipment.
• Assist with orientation and ongoing department competencies.
