Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Telemetry Technician to monitor ECGs and interpret rhythms under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will communicate changes to the RN and support the healthcare team during night shifts.

Responsibilities include documenting interpretations, ensuring safety with monitoring equipment, and assisting with orientation and competency within the department. A High School Diploma and basic dysrhythmia training are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Telemetry knowledge and dysrhythmia training required.
• Must complete Basic Dysrhythmia course and pass Telemetry Technician test.

Responsibilities

• Interpret ECG monitor readings and report changes to the RN.
• Notify nursing staff of monitor issues.
• Document calculations and interpretations on required forms.
• Follow safety precautions with monitoring equipment.
• Record information on forms in the department.
• Assist with team orientation and competency maintenance.
