Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a part-time Telemetry Technician to monitor and interpret ECGs under RN direction. You will document rhythms, communicate changes to the RN, and support the healthcare team across shifts.

The role requires 3–6 months of experience, basic dysrhythmia training, and the ability to operate electronic equipment. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a strong focus on patient safety.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months previous experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dysrhythmia and heart blocks and SPO2 monitoring with alarm response preferred.
• Must complete Basic Dysrhythmia course and pass Telemetry Technician test.

Responsibilities

• Continuously observes and interprets ECG monitors.
• Identifies and communicates changes in ECG to the RN.
• Notifies nursing staff of any monitor problems.
• Documents calculations and interpretation on required forms.
• Adheres to standard precautions and patient safety when using equipment.
• Records information on forms as needed.
• Assists with orientation and performance improvement activities, maintaining competencies.
