Job summary

Ascension Via Christi, St. Francis in Wichita, KS, seeks an LPN for cardiovascular care. The role includes night shifts (PRN) with opportunities for growth within a renowned Catholic health system.

You will perform patient assessments, administer medications, and support lab/therapeutic services while guiding patients and families through treatment plans and self-care strategies.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse licensed in Kansas.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent; or 1 year of applicable job experience.
• IV Certification required at time of hire.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

• IV Certification: You must possess a current IV Certification at the time of hire to perform essential functions.
