Job summary

Mercy, St. Louis, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Telemetry 2 (Tele2) unit on a part-time basis (24 hours per week). This fast-paced, high-acuity setting emphasizes critical thinking and advanced telemetry care for adult patients with cardiac and respiratory conditions.

You will monitor cardiac rhythms, respond to clinical changes, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions, in a supportive nurse-led environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and clinical changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans.
• Manage patients with moderate to high acuity needs.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
