Job summary

Mercy St. Louis is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Telemetry Level 2 (Tele2) unit. This part-time 24 hours per week position offers exposure to a higher acuity setting and close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You will monitor cardiac rhythms, provide comprehensive patient care, and educate patients and families on discharge instructions. Ideal candidates have strong critical thinking and an interest in stepdown or cardiac care pathways.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and clinical changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans.
• Manage patients with moderate to high acuity needs.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
