Mercy St. Louis is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for the Telemetry 2 (Tele2) unit. The role supports a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with emphasis on cardiac and respiratory monitoring and patient education.

Ideal candidates have Tele2 population exposure and a drive toward stepdown or critical care pathways. The position offers 24 hours per week, with opportunities to develop advanced telemetry skills within a close-knit unit.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with a degree in nursing (AD/ Diploma/ BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and clinical changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans.
• Manage patients with moderate to high acuity needs.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
