Job summary

Mercy St. Louis is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse for the Telemetry 2 (Tele2) unit, a fast-paced, high-acuity environment designed for nurses who enjoy critical thinking and complex patient care.

You will care for adults with cardiac and respiratory conditions, monitor rhythms, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and help patients and families understand treatment plans and discharge instructions. This role offers clinical growth on a focused stepdown‑level unit.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a nursing program with RN licensure.
• Licensure: Current RN license in hiring state or compact.
• Certifications: BLS required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and clinical changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans.
• Manage patients with moderate to high acuity needs.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
