Job summary

Prime Healthcare Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Telemetry Unit. You will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, and coordinate patient teaching while ensuring standards of care.

The position is full-time days in Chicago with a rotating schedule and a sign-on bonus. Eligibility requires an active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and preferred BSN/RN-BC credentials. Competitive total rewards offered.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within Telemetry Unit using nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and supervise patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition, including cardiac monitoring and test results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and response to treatment.
