Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Tele Med Surg unit. The role offers full-time days with 3-12 hour shifts and rotating holidays.

You will provide direct patient care in a Telemetry Unit, collaborate with physicians, and lead patient and family teaching while maintaining high standards of care. The position requires an active state RN license, BLS, ACLS, and basic arrhythmia interpretation within specified timelines, with preferred Acute Care and Ventilator

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate on hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• RN-BC or similar certification; preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physician about changes in patient’s clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring and test results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
