Job summary

Prime Healthcare Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Telemetry unit. The role involves delivering safe patient care using the nursing process and collaborating with physicians on patient status and diagnostic results.

Full-time Days shifts with rotating holidays/weekends, offering a pay range of $35.35–$53.58 per hour. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• RN-BC or similar certification; preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
