Job summary

Prime Healthcare Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care/Stepdown Telemetry Unit. The role offers a full-time night schedule (7p-7:30a) with 3-12 hour shifts, rotating holidays and weekends, and a competitive hourly rate of $35.35-$53.58.

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN License.
Current BLS certificate upon hire.
Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
Ventilator Management experience preferred.
Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
Provide direct patient care within the Telemetry Unit scope of practice.
Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
Communicate with the physician about changes in patient condition including cardiac monitoring and diagnostic results.
