Job summary

Prime Healthcare Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Telemetry unit on the Days shift. You will deliver direct patient care, monitor cardiac status, and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to maintain high standards of care.

Active RN license in state, BLS and ACLS certifications required; basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days and ventilator management experience preferred. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• RN-BC certification or similar preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing staff to maintain Telemetry standards.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition, tests and treatment responses.

Education

RN License (State)
