Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Telemetry floor. Full-time Nights with 7p–7a shifts and every other weekend. A Sign-On Bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry, direct patient care, and collaboration with the care team. Requires RN license, BLS, ACLS; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry Unit.
• Direct patient care within scope of practice and provide family teaching.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and care team.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition and treatment responses.
