Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for a Telemetry unit in Illinois. The position is 24 hours per week, 7pm–7am, with a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour.

Includes benefits eligibility and opportunities for professional growth in a supportive team environment. Ideal candidates will have a BSN or equivalent nursing education, an active RN license, and BLS certification, with at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care, engaging patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Handles medication, treatments, and therapies as per clinical protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
• Demonstrates effective communication, teamwork, and appropriate delegation.
• Pursues ongoing professional development and maintains required certifications.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and ethical decision-making in patient care.
