Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Telemetry at Advocate South Suburban Hospital. The shift is 7p-7a, totaling 36 hours per week, with a comprehensive benefits package. You will apply the nursing process, monitor patients, and collaborate with the care team to optimize outcomes.

Required are a nursing degree, an active RN license (state/compact), and BLS certification. BSN preferred; experience in telemetry and EHRs is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the relevant state(s).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Applies the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans as needed.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and promotes ethical patient care.
• May administer medications per clinical protocols.
