• Performs comprehensive assessments for assigned patients considering age-specific variables.
• Educates patients and families and assesses learning needs and readiness to learn.
• Develops and updates the nursing care plan with input from the interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinates communication with physicians and other providers about patient status and care.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments following standards of care and safety.
