Registered Nurse-Telemetry In-House Registry Days at Northwestern Medicine in DeKalb, IL. This 1st shift, casual/per diem position offers 1.2 hrs/week (0.03 FTE) with an hourly salary range of $48.00–$55.00.

Qualifications

• RN role in telemetry and inpatient care
• Demonstrated nursing assessment and care planning abilities
• Strong communication with physicians and interdisciplinary team
• Adherence to standards of care and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments reflecting age-specific variables
• Develops and updates nursing plan of care with input from team
• Coordinates care with physicians and other providers
• Initiates discharge planning and patient education
• Administers medications and provides pain management
• Documents patient responses and nursing actions accurately
• Communicates status changes to care team
• Participates in patient care conferences as needed
• Evaluates quality of care and adherence to standards

Registered Nurse in IL

CPR – BLS within 30 days

Current certification appropriate to work area
