Prime Healthcare Services is seeking a Temporary Internal Registry Registered Nurse (RN) for the Day Shift in Evanston, IL, Telemetry and Med Surg Tele. The assignment is expected to last 12 weeks and may be extended based on operational needs.

As an RN, you will deliver safe patient care using the nursing process, perform direct patient care in Telemetry, and collaborate with physicians on changes in patient condition and test results.

Formación

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct patient care within the Telemetry Unit scope of practice.
• Direct and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Conocimientos

Current and valid state RN License

Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate

Basic Arrythmia Interpretation

ACLS certificate

Ventilator management experience

RN-BC or similar certification

BSN preferred

Educación

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
