Job summary

Emerus is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse (PCU/Step-Down/Tele RN) for night to day shifts in a small-format hospital setting. The role emphasizes planning and delivering age- and specialty-appropriate care, while adhering to physician orders and infection control standards.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma with current RN licensure in Pennsylvania, and have 2+ years of Telemetry/ICU experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions required.
• 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare positions.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• English fluency in written and spoken communication.
• Act 33 and Act 73 clearances completed within last 5 years or before start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide age-specific and specialty nursing care.
• Follow physician orders for nursing care delivery.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic technique policies.
• Handle admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Comply with state nursing standards and facility policies.
