Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a RN Telemetry Float Pool nurse for Saint Paul, MN. This part-time 8-hour day/evening position offers 36 hours biweekly with every-other weekend rotation in a 72-hour biweekly schedule, 8-hour shifts, and union contract MNA-12-United RN-RUH.

The role requires telemetry training, med/surg RN experience, and MN or WI RN license upon hire, with BLS and ACLS prerequisites. CCRN/RN-BC are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse – MN or WI depending on state of hire; BLS within 30 days of hire or in-house training.
• Preference for Bachelor's degree and RN-BC/CCRN certifications.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient and family assessment; establish plan of care and expected outcomes.
• Coordinate, delegate and supervise care to ensure safe, effective nursing practice.
• Maintain competencies and apply evidence-based nursing practices.
• Provide leadership as Charge Nurse or Preceptor when required.
