Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for permanent night shift in Minnesota locations. 0.8 FTE (64 hours per two-week pay period) with 8-hour night shifts and every-other-weekend rotation.

The role involves critical care and telemetry competencies within a safe, patient-centered care team. Tiered qualifications include associate degree or vocational RN, 2–5 years RN experience, ACLS/ALS/PALS certification as applicable, with preferred bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Associates or Vocational degree is required.
• 2 to 5 years RN experience.
• 0 to 2 years Med/Surgical experience at some regional sites.
• Bachelors degree is preferred.
• Current ACLS/ALS/PALS certifications per site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs; establish outcomes and care plans; supervise progress and modify plan as needed.
• Maintains education and competencies to provide high quality patient care.
• Incorporates evidence-based nursing practice considering current statutes and regulations.
• Establishes measurable patient outcomes with family and patient.
• Coordinates, collaborates, and delegates to ensure safe, effective care.
• Fulfills organizational requirements.
• Charge Nurse/Preceptor roles as applicable.
