Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a registered nurse for the Day Shift (7am-7pm) at a 16-bed small-format hospital. The role focuses on assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in Telemetry/ICU settings.

You will follow physician orders, protect patient privacy, and perform admissions, discharges, and transfers, under the hospital’s standards. BSN preferred; active TX RN license and BLS/ACLS required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions.
• 2+ years full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or 2+ years related healthcare positions.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; PALS strongly preferred.
• Fluency in English (written and oral).

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-specific nursing care using advanced clinical knowledge.
• Follow physician's orders in delivery of nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques in care delivery.
• Collect lab samples and perform tests per policy and regulations.
• Handle admissions, discharges, and transfers; assemble equipment for procedures.
• Comply with hospital policies and state nursing standards.
