Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse for PRN Telemetry/ICU coverage at our Schertz, TX facility. You will assess, plan, and deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, aligned with physician orders and unit protocols.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related fields, an active Texas license, BLS/ACLS, and excellent English communication. Per diem schedule offers flexibility and teamwork.

Qualifications

• RN licensure current and in good standing.
• 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare roles.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• English fluency for written and oral communication.
• Pennsylvania Act 33/Act 73 clearances completed within the last 5 years or must be obtained prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific nursing care according to orders.
• Follow physician's orders in delivery of care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques in care delivery.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policies and procedures.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assemble equipment for procedures and assist others.
• Adhere to state nursing standards and hospital policies.
• Attend staff and required company meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
