Job summary

Emerus, a leader in small-format hospitals, seeks a Registered Nurse for telemetry/ICU care in Fort Worth. The role supports assessment, planning, directing and evaluating patient care across shifts in a PRN capacity.

Responsibilities include prioritizing nursing care, following physician orders, ensuring privacy, adhering to infection control, collecting labs, and managing admissions and transfers. Requires RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 2+ years in related areas.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions.
• 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare positions.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• English fluency in written and spoken form.
• PA Act 33/Act 73 clearances referenced in posting (if applicable to state).

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-appropriate nursing care.
• Follow physician orders and deliver nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Collect labs and perform testing per policies and CLIA.
• Handle admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Assemble equipment for procedures and assist as needed.
• Ensure care aligns with state nursing standards.
