Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Day Shift PRN position at our 16-bed small-format hospital in Aubrey, TX. The RN will assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in Telemetry/ICU settings, delivering compassionate, evidence-based nursing.

You will follow physician orders, ensure patient privacy, maintain infection control, and participate in admission/discharge processes while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the state with no sanctions.
• 2+ years full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or equivalent.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age- and developmentally appropriate nursing care.
• Follow physician's orders in the delivery of nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times.
• Adhere to infection control, isolation procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policies and CLIA/COLA regulations.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assemble equipment and supplies for diagnostic or treatment procedures; assist with procedures.
• Comply with state Board of Nursing standards for nursing care and practice.
