Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN, preferred
• 2+ years full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or 2+ years in related healthcare positions
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; PALS strongly preferred
• English fluency in speaking and writing
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions, required

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age-specific nursing care.
• Follow physician's orders in the delivery of nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times.
• Adhere to infection control, isolation procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing according to policies and procedures.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assemble equipment and supplies for diagnostic or treatment procedures; assist with procedures.
• Ensure adherence to State Board of Nursing standards for nursing care and practice.
