Job summary

Advocate Health Lake Norman Nursing Progressive Care Unit is seeking a dedicated Nurse Aide to support telemetry patients on the 5th floor. The role is full-time, 36 hours weekly, with a 7a-7p schedule.

The position involves direct patient care, vital signs, hygiene assistance, and safe patient handling in a fast-paced unit. Responsibilities include basic clinical tasks, charting, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Nurse Aide I or Nurse Aide II certification as applicable.
• BLS certification required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients with activities of daily living.
• Assists with personal hygiene and daily routines.
• Takes vital signs and basic measurements.
• Feeds, ambulates, and orients patients; documents changes.
• Maintains clean patient rooms and inventories supplies.
• Performs clerical tasks and maintains medical records.
