Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required for new hires.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I.
• BLS certification required by policy.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Assist with personal hygiene of patients.
• Take vital signs and record measurements.
• Feed and ambulate patients per procedures.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Observe and report changes in patient conditions.
• Orient patients and families to unit and safety procedures.
• Assist with clerical tasks: phones, data entry, medical records.
• Maintain stock and supplies inventory.
• Perform Nurse Aide I tasks and routine clinical duties such as basic venipuncture and 12-lead EKG as trained.
