Mount Nittany Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role includes assisting with daily living activities and supporting the care team.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, and a patient care training course is preferred. Pennsylvania CNA certification is preferred if applicable, and BLS is required by the American Heart Association with renewal every two years.

• Updates knowledge and skills on an ongoing basis including, but not limited to successful completion and maintenance of job related competencies.
• Effectively functions as a team member and as a liaison between patient and staff.
• Supports and encourages harmonious communication skills.
• Uses verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates high level of mental and emotional tolerance, uses tact, sensitivity and sound judgments.
• Communicates in highly professional manner at all times.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care under supervision and assist with activities of daily living as assigned.
• Works under the supervision of a professional nurse and follows assignments from Unit Director/Manager or Nursing Supervisor.
• Acts as a liaison between patient and staff to ensure smooth care delivery.
