Allegheny Health Network seeks a Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under RN supervision in a fast-paced inpatient unit in Monroeville, PA. The role emphasizes basic nursing procedures, patient comfort, and adherence to hospital policies, with 2 weeks of training for those with limited experience.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, ability to read/write, basic math, and basic computer skills; CPR and background clearances are required.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• CPR certification preferred/required per site policy.

Responsabilidades

• Provides and documents direct patient care and activities such as ADLs, vital signs, ambulation, specimen collection, intake/output, and measurements.
• Participates in quality and patient satisfaction initiatives including bedside shift report and hourly rounding for safety and cleanliness.
• Accurately documents vital signs, weights, I&O, restraints, specimens, and other treatments; reports changes to nursing staff.
• Performs unit activities such as supply stocking and equipment cleaning/retrieval.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
