Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support direct patient care in a busy inpatient unit. The role requires performing basic nursing procedures for stable patients and assisting RN staff with acutely ill patients as needed.

Attention to patient dignity, privacy, and documentation in the EMR is essential. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, CPR certification, and enrollment in ASN/BSN programs.

Qualifications

• Must have basic reading, writing and mathematics skills.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care and assist with non-direct unit coordination.
• Document patient care and vital signs in the EMR.
• Participate in patient admissions, discharges and transfers.
