Job summary

RTX is seeking junior electronics engineers to support Telemetry and Flight Termination Systems design and testing in the Tucson, AZ facility. The role focuses on analog and mixed-signal circuitry, PCB development, and verification under DoD standards.

You will collaborate with the EAP team to design, analyze, simulate, and document electronics for power, timing, and signal interfaces, contributing across the full design cycle from requirements through integration.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced STEM degree.
• Experience with electronics design with emphasis on systems and/or subsystems.
• Experience utilizing and/or creating electrical design specifications.
• Experience with analog electronics design including FETs/BJTs, op-amps, filters, termination, A/D converters, level shifters, and load switches.
• Experience using tools such as MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document analog and mixed signal electronics circuitry.
• Assist in designing electronics at the subsystem or PCB level.
• Help to see PCB development through its design phases, from requirements definition through initial integration testing.
• Be the “Responsible Engineering Authority” (REA) for FTS and/or TM designs.
• Generate and/or compile all required analysis and documentation verifying compliance with program and performance requirements.
