Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking junior engineers to help design Telemetry and Flight Termination Systems as part of the Effector Analog & Power (EAP) Team. You will contribute to system designs from concept to integration, focusing on analog and mixed-signal electronics in low to moderate power ranges.

The role supports a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off) and offers relocation eligibility, with comprehensive benefits and security-clearance readiness.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in STEM and a minimum of 2 years of experience or an advanced STEM degree.
• Experience with electronics design with emphasis on systems/subsystems.
• Experience creating electrical design specifications.
• Experience with analog electronics design including FETs/BJTs, op-amps, filters, A/D converters, level shifters.
• Experience using MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document analog and mixed signal electronics circuitry.
• Assist in designing electronics at the subsystem or PCB level.
• See PCB development through from requirements to integration testing.
• Be the Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for FTS and/or TM designs.
• Generate and compile analyses and documentation for compliance with requirements.
