Job summary

RTX is seeking mid-career engineers for the Effector Analog & Power (EAP) Team to design Telemetry and Flight Termination systems, focusing on analog and mixed-signal electronics that support low-power operation. You will contribute from concept through integration, ensuring performance and compliance with stringent standards.

The role targets engineers with strong foundational skills in electronics design, capable of detailing requirements, analyses, and test plans for flight-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Experience with Electronics design with emphasis on systems and/or subsystems.
• Experience utilizing and creating electrical design specifications.
• Experience with analog electronics design, including one or more of the following: FETs/BJTs, op-amp, high/low/band pass filters, clock/data termination, comparator circuits, A/D converters, level shifters, and load switches.
• Experience using tools such as MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or other similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document analog and mixed signal electronics circuitry.
• Assist in designing electronics at the subsystem or PCB level.
• Help to see PCB development through its design phases, from requirements definition through initial integration testing.
• Be the "Responsible Engineering Authority" (REA) for FTS and/or TM designs.
• Generate and/or compile all required analysis and documentation verifying compliance with program and performance requirements.
