Responsibilities

• Assist Registered Nurses in treating patients throughout the hospital under licensed staff supervision.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment and assist in admission, care, discharge, and transfer of patients.
• Respond to call lights, assist with feeding, bathing, and transfers; use language line if applicable.
• Perform direct patient care tasks such as assistance with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Participate in development and review of patient treatment plans and progress toward goals.
• Provide one-on-one assistance with patients as needed and report changes to staff.
• Practice downtime procedures and adhere to established department policies and objectives.
