Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• EMT credentialed from Illinois EMS & Highway Safety board; Intermediate/Advanced acceptable.
• Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from IL board of DFPR.
• Nurse Aide credentialed from IL Department of Public Health; nursing student with one semester of medical-surgical nursing acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
• Aid with movement and placement of patients; assist with activities of daily living.
• Report findings or changes to nursing staff and document necessary records.
• Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.
