Job summary

Adventist Health White Memorial in Los Angeles is seeking a per diem Nursing Assistant to provide bedside care under the supervision of an RN. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and support the telemetry unit's operations in a busy hospital setting.

Responsibilities include documenting patient data, communicating concerns to the RN, and performing routine clerical tasks to keep the unit running smoothly. A CNA credential and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• CNA certification required.
• Phlebotomy, audiometry or CHDP certification preferred in CA/HI.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal nursing care under the direction of an RN.
• Performs activities of daily living assistance and reports patient status.
• Takes vital signs and supports basic patient needs (bathing, dressing, feeding).
• Completes clerical duties to route patient reports and maintain unit flow.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
