Job summary

Monterey Park Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant or Nursing Assistant for the Telemetry Unit on a per diem, 12-hour night shift. This role reports to the Director of Critical Care Services and supports high-quality patient care in a dynamic telemetry environment.

The CNA/NA provides essential nursing assistance, adheres to safety protocols, and collaborates with RNs and LVNs to ensure optimal patient outcomes during night rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current CA Nursing Assistant Certification preferred.
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Receives assignments from the Charge RN and takes direction from the RN and LVN.
• Delivers high-quality, individualized basic nursing care.
• Contributes to safety and quality nursing care for positive patient outcomes.
