Job summary

Adventist Health White Memorial Montebello in Montebello, CA, is seeking a dedicated nursing assistant to provide bedside care during the night shift. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor patient status, and communicate changes to the RN in charge.

Responsibilities include vital signs, basic patient care, and light clerical duties to ensure smooth unit operations. CNA certification and BLS are required, with preferred CA/HI-based credentials.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• Phlebotomy Certification: Preferred in CA and HI
• Audiometry and vision training or CHDP certificate: Preferred in CA and HI
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification: Required
• HLFS: Required

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks associated with activities of daily living, including assisting with nutrition and hydration, elimination, personal care, positioning devices, restraints and restorative care.
• Takes vital signs including, pulse and blood pressure.
• Helps patients with basic needs, bathing, dressing and feeding.
• Performs clerical duties and routes patient reports; communicates patient status to RN.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
