Job summary

Variety Care Inc. in Oklahoma City is seeking a Coordinator, Patient Access to lead digital and telephonic scheduling, registration and referral coordination.

You will manage telemedicine workflows, MyChart, Artera, and EPIC PAS tasks, supporting care teams and patients with timely communication. The role requires at least two years in a high-volume call center, proficiency with EPIC and MyChart, bilingual Spanish/English, and a track record of improving patient access services.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a high-volume call center or as a Patient Access Specialist.
• Expertise with PAS workflows including referrals, ER/ER workflow?
• Bilingual Spanish/English required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with telemedicine services and digital communication tools (MyChart, Artera).
• Process all texting, electronic and telephonic workflows to ensure timely communications.
• Coordinate telemedicine appointments with patients, clinicians, and providers.
• Manage day-to-day telemedicine scheduling and ensure daily digital health workflows are completed.
• Liaise between care teams and patients to support coordination of care and patient service.
• Handle outside referrals and behavioral health appointments; address caller needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems.
• Support department goals and complete leadership training.
• Aim to improve patient experience and access while meeting performance targets.
