Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. seeks a Telehealth Counselor to support patients on their recovery journey through remote counseling and coordination of services.

You will guide treatment planning, document progress, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Applicants should hold a qualifying license or certification and have experience with substance use treatment and case management.

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified counselor per BBS/ADP requirements.
• CEH/CEU continuing education hours required by regulatory agencies.
• Experience with dependency and/or medication-assisted treatment preferred.
• Associates or better in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services or related field (education requirement).

Responsibilities

• Complete patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other documentation per standards.
• Orient patients on program objectives, phase requirements, rules, rights, and hours of services.
• Assess and place patients according to treatment phases and policies.
• Keep patient files organized and updated per policies.
• Counsel patients in crisis and help access resources.
• Refer patients to other agencies and resources when appropriate.
• Submit monthly and quarterly reports to supervisor.
• Attend team meetings and complete required trainings.
