Our client, a dynamic telecommunications solutions provider, is seeking a motivated and technically adept Telecommunications Sales Engineer to join their team in East London, Eastern Cape, ZA. This role is instrumental in bridging the gap between our client's technical offerings and customer needs, providing pre-sales technical support and developing customized solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of telecommunications technologies and excellent communication skills, enabling them to effectively engage with clients and sales teams. This position requires a hands-on approach to understanding client requirements and presenting technical solutions persuasively.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and business objectives.
• Design and present technical solutions based on our client's portfolio of telecommunications products and services.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to potential clients.
• Develop proposals, quotations, and technical specifications.
• Answer technical questions and address concerns from prospective customers.
• Provide technical expertise during the sales cycle, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest telecommunications technologies, market trends, and competitor offerings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales engineering, pre-sales technical support, or solutions architecture role within the telecommunications industry.
• Solid understanding of telecommunications concepts, including IP networking, VoIP, wireless technologies, and cloud services.
