Job summary

CobbFendley Inc. seeks an experienced Telecommunications Hybrid Technician for Midland and Odessa, Texas. The role requires hands-on drafting and field inspection skills with 5+ years of experience creating plan and profile drawings and interpreting survey data.

You will work with project managers and designers, use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other tools, and contribute to QA/QC while operating in a hybrid on-site/remote environment.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma, GED, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience required.
• 5+ years of professional experience with creating plan and profile drawings.
• Knowledge of standard drafting techniques and procedures used to support design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Work independently to support Project Managers, Project Engineers and Designers with technical design tasks.
• Utilize engineering and drafting software to generate plan and profile drawings, including cross-sections and utilities from survey files.
• Prepare drawings, cost estimates, bills of materials, and reports for construction and maintenance projects.
• Interpret survey notes, utility records, and civil plans to create accurate base drawings.
• Perform standard calculations and compile data for documentation and reporting.
• Coordinate with internal staff to ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures.
