Job summary

CobbFendley is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Hybrid Technician to support plan production, field surveys, and design validation in Midland and Odessa, Texas.

You will use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and GIS tools to translate survey data into constructible drawings, coordinate with Project Managers, and ensure QA/QC and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with plan and profile drawings.
• Knowledge of drafting techniques and infrastructure design standards.
• Experience using CAD/GIS software to prepare technical drawings.
• Ability to manage data in spreadsheets and documents for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with technical design tasks for projects.
• Generate plan and profile drawings from survey files and records.
• Complete redline markups and incorporate review comments.
• Prepare intermediate design drawings, cost estimates, and BOMs.
• Interpret survey notes and utility records to create base drawings.
• Perform calculations for elevations and material quantities.
• Support collection of field data and input for reports.
• Contribute to QA/QC and safety compliance.
