Job summary

CobbFendley in Frisco, TX is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Field Technician to support field operations on civil infrastructure projects. This contract position offers a hybrid work arrangement after training and opportunities for growth within a multi-discipline engineering team.

The role requires 5+ years in the field, travel locally and interstate, and the ability to operate diverse equipment while following safety and QA/QC processes.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of professional field experience in civil infrastructure work.
• Knowledge of field operations, safety guidelines, and environmental considerations.

Responsibilities

• General: Perform routine assignments with limited supervision and coordinate with project staff.
• Safety + Compliance: Follow safety procedures, QA/QC processes, and PPE requirements.
• Technical: Inspect outside plant and communications infrastructure; document and report field conditions; capture data with field tools.
