Pauley Construction, LLC is seeking a Laborer II Telecom Underground in Grand Junction, CO. The role involves general labor for underground telecom construction, including digging, installing, and maintaining cabling under the direction of Foreman/Supervisor.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, working near heavy machinery, and adhering to safety rules in all weather. Candidates must be 18+, have a valid driver's license (or CDL), and pass background/drug screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year of utility construction, telecommunications, or laborer experience.
• Any combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates ability to perform job duties.
• Reasoning: ability to understand instructions and adapt to varied situations.
• Mathematical: basic measurement calculations.
• Language: ability to read and understand safety rules and manuals, and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Dig with hand shovel and mechanical tools as directed.
• Install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling.
• Climb in/out of equipment (trucks, backhoes, trenchers).
• Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery.
• Work in congested or remote areas and maintain safe coordination with crew.
• Follow defined processes and supervise tasks as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
