Job summary

VCI Construction, LLC is seeking a Foreman for the Telecom Underground team in Long Beach, CA. You will lead crews to install and maintain underground telecom systems while ensuring safety protocols and project timelines are met.

You will train crew members, read blueprints, and coordinate with the supervisor. You will also interact with property owners, operate heavy equipment, and work in all weather conditions to deliver quality results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related work experience; Foreman experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States; able to read blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license; HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Help with training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Ensure safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations are followed.
• Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities.
• Communicate with property owners about work and resolve issues.
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
